Senior Portrait Sessions: It's All About YOU!
Your senior portraits should capture your beauty, style, and confidence. Wear something that truly reflects who you are right now! Choose an outfit that makes you feel comfortable and confident—something that helps you look and feel your best. Be sure to try it on beforehand to ensure it’s a perfect fit. As a tip, avoid screen prints, logos, and neon colors if possible.
Let’s incorporate your hobbies, interests, and passions into the shoot. Don’t hesitate to accessorize—bring that stylish hat or those amazing heels you’ve been wanting to wear! Senior photos should be fun and showcase what makes you unique. Whether it’s your drum set, smoke bombs, or even a visit to the local laundromat, coffee house, or arcade, let’s make it memorable. Love hunting? Bring your camo gear and let’s include your favorite equipment! Want your car or your dad’s old truck in the shoot? No problem. Have a special pet? Bring them along too!

Preparing for Your Session
Think of your senior portrait session like you’re preparing for prom! These photos are memories you and your family will treasure forever, so get your hair, makeup, and nails done—pamper yourself a little! Here are some tips for the week leading up to your session:
Sun Protection
- Wear sunscreen to avoid sunburns (which aren’t flattering in photos).
- Limit wearing sunglasses the week before your session to avoid white circles around your eyes.
- Be mindful of tan lines that might show with your outfit.
Hydrate
Drink plenty of water the week before to help moisturize your skin for a healthier glow in your photos.
Lips
Keep your lips hydrated with chapstick or lip gloss, both before and during the session.
Nails
Touch up your nail polish the day of the session and choose a color that complements your outfit.
Clothing
Make sure your clothes are wrinkle-free, and if they wrinkle easily, bring them to the location and change there.
Grooming
Shave any necessary areas—legs, armpits, and facial hair for guys. Beards are fine but should be well-groomed for a polished look in photos. Also, spray deodorant is helpful to prevent excessive sweating during the warmer months.
